Chapter 1 The Symbol

Hello, my name is Venus Elizabeth Taylor, I am 5'5'' I have blonde hair with brown low lights. I live with my single mother. I play the guitar, its how I express my feelings. I have two best friends Belle and David.
“Hey Venus”, said her mom, “will you go take the garbage to the curb? Remember its Tuesday night.”
“Okay mom” said Venus.
The phone rings and Venus picks it up
“Hey Belle, hold on let me ask her. Hey mom can I go over to Belles house?” Said Venus.
“Yes, you can but be home by midnight or earlier” said her mom.
“Okay, see yea in a few minutes Belle.” Said Venus, “mom I'm taking the car,.”
Venus goes to Belles house
“Hey Venus, come sit in the family room. Belle will be down here in a minute” said Belles mom.
Belle comes downstairs
“Hey Venus” said Belle. “So has you know who asked you out yet?”
“Oh you mean David?” Said Venus. “No but I talked to him yesterday. And he says hes not very happy right now.”
“Why isn't he?' Asked Belle wonderingly.
“Well you know he is in a fight with his girlfriend.” Said Venus; “well she broke up with him. So I think he just wants to get over her first.”
“Oh sad” said Belle. 'You know I never really liked her. I always thought she was just playing with his heart.”
“So right now I think he just needs a friend.” Said Venus. “So I'm going to help him through this hard time. “
“Good, so he knows that he can count on you” said Belle.
“I'm going to go to the bathroom okay.” Said Venus, “Be right back.”
“Okay” said Belle.
*After a few minutes Venus came back from the bathroom*
“Venus what is that on your neck?” Said Belle.
“Is there something gross on my neck or what?' Said Venus worried.
“No its on your left side of your neck.” Said Belle; 'I never really noticed it before.”
“Oh well I tried to hide it by covering it up with make up, but it didn't really work”. Said Venus. I've had that sense I was born. Well I have to go its ten to midnight.” See yea tomorrow.
“Okay, bye Venus.” Said Belle.
Chapter 2 The Gypsy
The next day at school” Hey David” said Venus.” Are you doing okay today? “
“Yeah” said David. “Much better than yesterday.”
“So why did you girlfriend break up with you?” Said Venus concerned.
“Well” said David slowly. “She said that I cheated on her. But I didn't.”
“Well I know that David “said Venus. “You wouldn't do anything like that. But why would she think that?
“I don't know why.” Said David questionably.
“Maybe its because she got sick of you.” Said Venus.
“Well I didn't really like her anyway.” Said David in deep thought. “Because she dressed slutty, got really annoying, she also got a bit snotty and mostly she got bossy.”
“Oh” said Venus surprised. “Well then why did you go out with her?”
“Umm” said David in more deep thought. “I thought she was hot looking.”
Venus started laughing as she punched him in the arm. You're weird David.”
“Yeah I know” said David.
“Hey Venus, Hey David” said Belle running up to us. “So Venus are you going to tell us about the symbol thing?”
“Oh, wait what symbol thing?” Said David confused.
Venus shows David the symbol “That symbol thing.” Said Venus.
“So you haven't told him yet?” Said Belle.
“Tell me what” said David even more confused.
“Oh were going to the gypsy lady.” Said Venus. “I want to find out more about the symbol thing that I have on my neck.”
“Oh cool, can I come?” Asked David. “I need to get me mind off of things.”
“Of course you can come” said Belle. “We would never say no to you.”
Bell rings for class “Well we'd better get to class peoples” Said Venus jokingly. “See you later David.” “Are you coming Belle?”
“Oh yes” said Belle. “See yea at lunch David.”
“Okay, bye Venus, bye Belle” said David starting to leave.
Lunch time “Oh Venus over here” yelled David excitedly. “So when are we going to see the gypsy?”
“Well, we were going to go right after school. Okay? Asked Venus.
“Yeah that's fine “said David excitedly. “So what re we going to do after we see the gypsy?'
“Well I don't know” said Venus.
“We should go see a movie” said David hopefully.
“Sure what movie do you want to see?” Asked Venus.
“Umm. I don't know said David. “There are Cars, Click, Over the Hedge, Ice Age 2, and Benchwarmers.”
“I'd like to see Click” said Venus. “So is Belle coming with us?”
“Well I was hoping it would be just us two.” Said David slowly.
“Oh its kind of like a date.” Said Venus hopefully.
“I do if you don't mind” said David.
“Oh I don't mind at all” Said Venus excitedly.
“Okay will Ill pick you up at 7:00?” Asked David.
“Yeah that's fine” Said Venus “Well I better go find Belle.”
“Okay talk to yea later then” said David.
Venus throws her finished lunch away and goes and finds Belle. “Hey Belle!” Yells Venus.
“Oh hey Venus” said Belle.
“I have great news.” Said Venus excitedly. “David just asked me out.”
“Oh my gosh!” Said Belle. “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!”
“Were going to see Click.” Said Venus. “And hes going to pick me up at 7:00.”
“Did he ask you or did you ask him?” Asked Belle.
“He asked me” said Venus. “He asks what are we going to do after we see the gypsy? I said, well I don't know, what do you wan to do? he said, do you want to see a movie? I said sure, what movie? he named some movies. So I said lets see Click. he said, Ill pick you up at 7:00. I said, Okay.
Bell rings for class “We better get to class Belle” said Venus.
“Yeah, we should” said Belle. Venus, Belle and David went to their last two periods.
“Okay, Venus were going to go to the gypsy now, right?” Asked Belle.
“We have to wait for David, because he wants to go too.” Said Venus.
“Oh yeah” said Belle. “I forgot.”
“Hey David” said Venus. “Ready to go?”
“Yeah lets go” Said David excitedly.
David, Venus and Belle walked to the gypsy place. “Okay were here” said Venus.”
“I'm so excited” said Belle excitedly.
They walked up to the door and Venus knocks. “Hello, whose there?” Said an old raspy voice.
“Oh, um? Hi, I was hoping to get answers to some questions.” Said Venus nervously.
“Well come in”, come in said the gypsy.
Venus, Belle and David went in to the gypsy's house. “So what questions do you have for me?” Asked the gypsy.
“Well” said Venus. “I have this symbol, mark or whatever it is.”
“Let me see this thing.” Asked the gypsy. “Where is it on you?”
Venus turns around and shows the gypsy her mark on her neck. “Its on my neck” Said Venus.
“Oh wow” said the gypsy. “I've seen that mark before, where have I seen it?” The gypsy got up and went searching through her books. After a couple of minutes of waiting. “There it is, I know I saw that mark somewhere.” The gypsy shows Venus, Belle and David a picture of an Egyptian princess with the same mark on her neck as Venus. “This Greek princess name is Elita.”
“She looks just like you Venus” said Belle amazed.
“Yeah, it does” Said Venus surprised. “How weird.”
Well what does the symbol mean? Asked Venus.
“It means the chosen one.” Said the gypsy.
“I'm the chosen one?” Asked Venus confused.
“Yes but there is a stone more of a crystal “said the gypsy. “The Crystal has secret powers that the chosen one can control. Powers that nobody knows of.” Said the gypsy. “But I think Elita the princess hid the crystal. So no one can abuse the powers. There are two people in the world who can use the crystals powers. One is the chosen one, that's you, and the other is elegir. Which also means chosen. But its Spanish but that families symbol is an e instead of a c.”
“Wow that's so cool.” Said Belle
“So where can we find this crystal?” Asked David.
“It can be somewhere in Greece” said the gypsy.
“Okay” said Venus. “Can I buy that book from you?”
“Yes it's eleven dollars” said gypsy.
“Here's eleven dollars”. Said Venus. “Thanks for the book.”
“Til we meet again.” Said the gypsy. Venus, Belle and David left the gypsy and went to Venus's house.
Chapter 3 The Date
Venus, Belle, and David went to Venus house. “So what do you guys want to do? “Asked Venus.
“I have to go to the bathroom be right back.” Then Belle ran out of the room
“So What do you want to do David?” Asked Venus.
“Okay” said Venus sounding a little disappointed. 'Bye David.”
“Bye Venus” said David. “Before I go I want to give you something.”
“Okay?” said Venus confused.
David walked toward Venus slowly. He leaned toward her and kissed her on the cheek.
“I have to go now” Said David. “Bye Venus, see you later.”
“Bye” David said Venus surprised.
A few minutes later Belle came out of the bathroom. And saw Venus sitting on a chair holding her cheek in a daze.
“Venus, are you okay?” Asked Belle. “Where's David?”
“He left right after you went to got the bathroom” Said Venus dazed.
“Okay” Said Belle. “Why are you acting so weird?”
“He kissed me on the cheek” Said Venus.
“Oh my gosh, he did, wow, he really likes you a lot”. Said Belle excitedly.
“So you're going to help me pick out an out fit for tonight” said Venus desperately. “Right?”
“Yes, of course” said Belle. “I wouldn't abandon my friend in their time of need.”
“Oh, good” said Venus. “I need all the help I can get.”
A few hours later, around 6:00. “Okay I have my outfit now” said Venus.
“Finally” said Belle. “Sorry to say this Venus, but you take forever.”
“Yes, well you would too if you were going on a date with the you like” Said Venus.
“Yeah that's true, but my guy wouldn't go out with me because hes a celebrity and hes 23 years old” said Belle jokingly.
Venus throwing a pillow at Belle. “You're so funny” Venus stated.
“Okay now we need to do your hair. How do you want it?” Asked Belle.
“I want it straight and down” said Venus.
An hour later David comes in with a long sleeve blue, green and purple stripped shirt, buttoned half way up. A white shirt underneath, blue jeans with a black belt, rusty gold belt buckle. He rings the doorbell. Venus's mom answers the door.
“Venus” yelled Mrs. Taylor. “Davids here.”
“I'll be right down” Venus yelled back.
A couple minutes later. Belle comes running down the stairs. “She's coming” said Belle excitedly.
Venus came down the hallway and down the stairs.
“I'm ready” said Venus wearing red cap sleeve shirt that tied in the back, black circled belt with gold holes, black faded pants, with red high heeled sandals.
“Wow you look amazing” said David amazed.
“Thank you”Asked Venus.
“I'll be home in a little while” said Venus excitedly.
David and Venus got in David's sliver Lamborghini, drove to the movie theater. They got out of the car then the tickets and walked to the snack bar.
“So what do you want for the movie?” Asked David.
“Lets get some popcorn” said Venus. “You can't go to a movie without popcorn.”
“Okay” said David. “One medium popcorn please, and two medium Orange Mountain Dews.”
“That would be $12.56” said the cashier.
David gave the cashier $12.56, they went to their seats and watched the movie. After David and Venus got in the car, and drove to a romantic restaurant.
“That was a really good movie” said Venus. “Except for the dogs humping the duck. Gross!”
“Really? I though that was hilarious” said David laughing.
“Wow, we're at the fanciest restaurant in town” Said Venus surprised. “David oh my gosh. This is so great, you're so wonderful.”
“You really like it.” Said David.
“Do you have a reservation?” Asked the hostess.
“Yes, its David Mills” said David.
“Ah, yes sir” said the hostess. “Right this way sir. Here's your table sir, madam. Hope you have a good evening.”
Venus and David sat down at the table, David helped Venus with her chair.
“So what do you want for dinner Venus?” David asked.
“ I'm thinking of having a salad. How about you?” Asked Venus
“I'm thinking of having the La Pan Kay of Spaghetti” said David.
“Hi my name is Alex and Ill be your waiter tonight” said the Alex. “What would you like to drink?”
“I would like a Sprite please” said Venus.
“And a Pepsi for me” said David.
“Okay be right back” Said the waiter.
“So?” said Venus “are you excited that the school year is almost over?”
“Oh yes definitely” said David. “How many days do we have left?”
“I think about 2 weeks left.” Said Venus. “I'm so excited that school is going to be over. So that I can sleep in, no homework or test, hang with friends. So what you going to this summer?”
“Hang out with my friends, work, hang out with my girlfriend” Said David
“Oh” said Venus blushing.
“How about you?” Asked David.
“Work and that's all that I know of” Venus still blushing.
“Here's you drinks” said the Alex.” Are we ready to order?”
“Yes” said Venus. “Ill have the Caesar Salad”
“And Ill have the La Pan Kay of Spaghetti.” Said David.
“Okay Ill be right back with your food.”
A couple of minutes later the waiter came back with the salad.
“Can I get another plate?” Asked Venus.
“Yes, be right back” The waiter came back with another plate. “Here you are.”
“Thanks” said Venus. “This plate is for you David so we can share the salad.”
“Oh thanks” said David. “Salad does go good with spaghetti.”
“Yes it does” said Venus laughing.
“This is a good salad don't you think David?”
“Yes” said David with a mouth full salad, as a piece of falls out.
“You missed some” said Venus laughing.
10 minutes later the spaghetti comes. “Here's your spaghetti, and here's an extra plate. I assumed that you would ask for one.
“Yes, and thanks” said Venus.
They ate the spaghetti. Shared a small sundae, three different kinds of ice creams with caramel topping nuts and of course a cherry on top.
“Now that was delicious” said Venus satisfied.
“I agree said David. I hope you had a good time?”
“Oh yes, definitely” said Venus.
The waiter comes and gives David the bill. “The bill and complimentary mints.” David pays the bill and gives it back to the waiter, they got in the car and drove to a shop.
“What are we doing here David” asked Venus curiously.
“Oh I thought you needed some company when you're alone” said David.
“Okay then what do I get?” Asked Venus.”
“Whatever you want” said David.
“Yay!” said Venus jokingly.
They walked into the shop. “Hello, welcome to Exotic Pets.” Said the cashier. “If you need any help just holler.”
“Okay thanks” said Venus. They walked around and stopped at a round blue fluffy ball. “Oh isn't that cute, I'll get this one.”
“Okay, I like it too” said David “reminds me of you.”
“Oh, how sweet.” Said Venus as she was hugging him.
David bought the animal they got in the car. And was drove Venus home.
“So what are you going to call it” asked David as it was sleeping.
“I'm thinking going calling it Aria” said Venus.
“Nice name “said David.
“Well it was the only name I could think of” said Venus.
They got to Venus house, he walked her to her door. “I had the best time of my life tonight David.” Said Venus. “And thanks for the dinner and the weasel.”
“Ah! It was no problem.” Said David. “Thanks for helping me during my hard times, you know.”
“What are friends for” said Venus.
Then she leaned in kissed David on lips. “Goodnight” Said David in a daze.
Then Venus unlocked the door and walked in and closed it.
“YES!!!” Said David jumping into the air.
Chapter 4 Belle’s New Crush
The next day at school. “Hey Venus: said Belle running up to her.
“Hey Belle” said Venus. “What’s up?”
“Spill!” Said Belle. “What happened last night?”
Venus told Belle what happened on her date with David. “So what did you name your little pet that David bought you?” Asked Belle.
“I named it Aria” said Venus.
“Oh cute” said Belle. “When can I come over and see him?”
“After school” said Venus.
“Hey beautiful” said David.
“Hey David” said Venus. “I have a question for you?”
“Okay” said David.
“Since we went on a date, are we boyfriend girlfriend now? Said Venus a little nervous.
“Yes” said David.
“Okay just making sure” said Venus.
“Can I have a hug then?” Asked David.
“Yes” said Venus giggling.
“David, what are you doing with her?” Asked Tami snotty.
“What do you want Tami?!?” Asked David annoyed.
“I want you back baby.” said Tami in a whiny voice.
“Too bad he’s with me” Said Venus.
“What does she mean pudding?” Tami asked sweetly.
“She means I’m taken “said David. “And stop calling me that, I HATE IT.”
“Oh fine then” said Tami. “You’ll regret that.” Then she stoked off.
“Whats her problem?” Asked Venus.
“I don’t know and don’t care” said David.
Bell rang for class.
“I have to go to class” Said Venus.
“Not without quick kiss” Said David.
“Okay” said Venus. And she gave a quick passionate kiss. “I have to go to class now David.”
“Okay” said David.
Venus went to class and sat down at a desk.“Hey Venus” said a voice behind her.
“Oh it’s you Tami “said Venus disgruntlely. “What do you want?”
I” want you to leave David alone” said Tami.
“Sorry, I can’t do that” said Venus.
“And why can’t you?” Asked Tami.
“He’s mine” Said Venus. “And he doesn’t want you, you broke up with him. He got over you, you lost him. That’s why.
“Hmm!” Said Tami sounding disgusted.
“Okay class has started” said the teacher. As the teacher was talking, a handsome you Englishman walked in.
“Excuse me sir, but is this room 203, Mr. Bates English class?” Asked the nice, handsome Englishman.
“Are you Mr. Jacobs?” Asked Mr. Bates.
“Yes” said the Englishman.
“Okay, Jacobs you sit next to Ms. Taylor” Said Mr. Bates. “Ms. Taylor raise your hand please.”
Venus raised her hand. Mr. Jacobs sat down. “Hello, my name is Jamey Jacobs.” Said Jamey.
“Hi, I’m Venus Taylor. Nice to meet you Jamey.” Said Venus.
The bell rang for class to be over. Venus got her lunch is sat down to eat lunch with Belle.
“Hey Venus” said Jamey. “Can I sit with you?”
“Of course you can, this is my friend Belle” Said Venus
“Hi” said Belle.
“I see you have a new friend” said David as he was sitting down next to Venus.
“Yes this is Jamey” said Venus. “Jamey this is David my boyfriend'.
“Hello” said Jamey.
“Hello” said David.
“So where are you from?” Asked Belle eagerly.
“I’m from London, England” said Jamey.
“That’s so cool” said Belle.
“So do you like it here Jamey?” Asked David.
“Yes” said Jamey.
“So who’s this cutie” said Tami.
“I’m Jamey” said Jamey.'
He’s not interested Tami” said David. “Now go away.”
“Bye cutie” said Tame blowing him a kiss.
“Ugh!!” Said Venus. “She is such a flirt.”
“Why did I ever go out with her?” Asked David.
“You thought she was hot” said Venus laughing.
“Oh yeah” said David. “Stay clear away from her Jamey.”
“Why?” Asked Jamey.
“She’s a slut.” Said David.
“Oh? Okay” said Jamey. “Thanks, I guess.”
Bell rings for Class. “See you guys after school” said Venus.
“Oh Venus” said Jamey. “Where is this classroom?”
“It’s down that hall and to your right” said Venus.
“Okay thanks” Said Jamey. “Oh I think your friend Belle is hot. But don’t tell her okay.”
“Okay” said Venus smiling.
After school. “Hey Jamey” said Belle.
“Hey Belle” said Jamey.
“So how long have you been here?” Asked Belle.
“A couple of days” said Jamey.
“Cool” said Belle.
“So are you doing anything tonight?” Asked Jamey.
“No, not really” said Belle.
“Well do you want to do something?” Asked Jamey.
“Sure” said Belle. “Here’s my number. Call me later, got to go here’s my mom. Bye Jamey.”
“Okay see you later Belle” Said Jamey.
“So you like her?” Asked David.
“How can you tell?” Asked Jamey.
“You won’t stop looking at her” said David.
“Oh, that is obvious” Said Jamey.
“Oh look two of my favorite guys” said Tami sweetly.
“Tami go away” said David.
“But David sweety I thought you loved me?” Asked Tami a little sad.
“No I’m taken and I never loved you” Said David. “NOW GO!”
“Fine be that way” said Tami storming off.
“She’s starting to get annoying” said Jamey.
“Yeah it’ll get worse” said David.
“Great!” said Jamey.
“Hey Jamey, Hey David” said Venus coming up to them.
“Hey Venus” said David and Jamey together.
“What did Tami want again?” Asked Venus annoyed.
“The same as last time” said David. “Shall we go?”
“Yes we better” said Venus. “See yeah-later Jamey.”
“Bye David, bye Venus” said Jamey.
“Bye” said David walking off.
I better go too, before she comes back. Thought Jamey to himself.
Later that afternoon, Jamey called Belle. “Hello” said a person that answered the phone.
“Hi, is Belle there?” Jamey asked.
“Yes let me got get her” said the person on the phone.
“Hello” said Belle.
“Hey Belle' said Jamey. “This is Jamey, from school.”
“Oh hey Jamey” said Belle. “I didn’t recognize your voice.”
“Really, I must sound different on the phone then” said Jamey laughing.
“So do you want to do something tonight?” Asked Belle.
“Sure, nothing to do here” said Jamey.
“What do you want to do?” Asked Belle.
“I don’t know” said Jamey.
“Oh this is going to be a great night” Said Belle laughing. “So…Do you want to hang out with David and Venus?”
“Yeah, sure” said Jamey. “But I don’t know where any of you guys live..”
“We could meet at the school” said Belle. “How far do you live from the school?”
“Not far, so meet you there?” Asked Jamey.
“Okay” said Belle.
Jamey walked over the school. Which took like 5 minutes. When he got there, Belle was waiting for him.
“Hey Jamey” said Belle. “Wow that was fast. I just got here like two minutes ago.”
“It’s just down the road anyways” Said Jamey while getting into the car.
“Nice” said Belle. “Well I called Venus and David. And they’re on a date. So what do you want to do?”
“What do you feel like doing?' Asked Jamey.
“I feel like doing bowling or miniature golf.” Said Belle. “How about you?”
“I like miniature golf” said Jamey.
“Okay” said Belle.
Belle drove to Pippy’s Golf Course and Miniature Golf.
“Here’s a really fun miniature golf course” Said Belle getting out of the car.
“Wow” said Jamey. I’ve never been here before.”
“Really?” Said Belle in surprise. “Wow, lets get started.”
“Okay” said Jamey.
A couple hours later. “That was fun” said Jamey. “Well I better get home.”
“Okay, tell me where you live” said Belle.
Belle drove Jamey home.
“Thanks I had a fun time” said Jamey. “Before I go I have a question to ask. Is that all right?”
“Yeah go ahead” said Belle.
“Well I was wondering if this counts as a date?” Jamey asked nervously.
“Oh, well aah?” Said Belle a little surprised.
“Oh if you don’t want to” said Jamey, “you don’t have too.”
'No, no it’s okay,” and she kissed him. “Does that answer you question?” Asked Belle.
“Yes” said Jamey in a daze.
“See you tomorrow” Said Belle blushing.
“Goodnight” Said Jamey getting out of the car and watching Belle getting farther and farther tell he couldn’t see her anymore. Then he walked into his house.
Chapter 5 Vengeance
Belle had just called Venus to see if she wanted to hang out with her and Jamey. “Who was that?” David asked.
“That was Belle” said Venus.
“What did she want?” David asked.
“She invited us to hang with her and Jamey” Said Venus.
“Why did you tell her no?” David asked.
“She and Jamey need a night alone” said Venus.
“But we just met him today” said David.
“Yeah I know” said Venus. “But Jamey likes Belle, and I can tell Belle likes him too.”
“How can you tell? And how do you know Jamey likes her?” Asked David confused.
“Jamey told me at lunch like right after the bell rang. And Belle kept asking questions” said Venus.
“Oh” said David.
“Oh I also told her that we’re on a date” said Venus.
“Oh really” said David. And David pinned Venus down on the ground in her bedroom. “Now you have to give me a kiss.”
“Oh that’s easy enough to do” said Venus. She kissed him.
The next school day. “Hey Venus” said Belle running up to her.
“Guess what?” Belle asked excitedly.
“What?” said Venus starting to get excited.
“I kissed Jamey last night” said Belle trembling with excitement.
“Wow” said David surprised. “Here comes Jamey. Hey what’s up dude?”
“Hey what’s up dude” said Jamey.
“Nothing much” said David.
“Same here” said Jamey. 'Can I talk to you Belle?”
“Yeah sure” said Belle. “See you guys later.”
“Bye” said Venus and David together. And they left.
“So what do you want to talk about Jamey?” Asked Belle.
“I would like to know if you would go on another date with me?” Jamey asked a little nervous.
“Oh” said Belle. “I would love to.”
“Great” said Jamey. “How about this Friday? At seven “O” clock? “
“Yeah” said Belle. “That’s fine.”
“Great” said Jamey with a huge smile on his face.
“So what are we going to do?” Asked Belle.
“It’s going to be a surprise' said Jamey.
“Okay” said Belle. “I love surprises.”
“Good” said Jamey. “Well I have to got find my class. See yea at lunch.”
“Okay” said Belle, “see you.”
Jamey left, Belle went to find Venus and David. “Hey Venus” said Belle.
“What did Jamey want?” Asked Venus curiously.
“We’re going on date” said Belle. “What we’re doing is a surprise.”
“Wow that’s cool” said Venus.
“Yeah I’m so excited” said Belle. 'We’re going out Friday at seven “O” clock.”
“Nice” said Venus. Bell rings.
“Well see you later” said Belle.
“Bye” said Venus.
“Hey Venus” said Tami.
“What do you want Tami?” Said Venus annoyed.
“I want you to stay away from David' said Tami.
“No!” Said Venus sternly.
“And tell your friend Belle to stay away from Jamey, he’s MINE.” Said Tami forcefully.
“You know what Tami” Said Venus getting a little angry. “Not every single guy in this school belongs to you. So you might as well give up, because they hate you and think you’re a slut.”
“I’m going to get you if it’s the last thing I do” said Tami darkly and left.
What is she going to do, annoy me to death thought Venus.
Lunchtime, Venus walked into the cafeteria. And saw David talking to Tami.
What does that slut want with David? Thought Venus. Then all of a sudden Tami kissed David.
Oh she just didn’t do that! Thought Venus angrily. She’s going to pay! Venus went over to Tami and slapped her real hard.
“YOU DO NOT DO THAT TO MY BOYFRIEND!” Venus yelled.
“What was that for?” Screamed Tami.
“YOU KISSED MY BOYFRIEND IDIOT!” Venus yelled.
“So what!” Screamed Tami. “What are you going to about it?”
“You’re going to pay!” Said Venus. “You never know where, how or what I’m going to do!'
“Oh I’m so scared!” Said Tami.
“You better be” said Venus hotly.
“Come on Venus” said David. “Tami stay away from my friends and me, I mean it.”
“Okay” said Venus. “I hate, no despise her. Why were you talking to her anyways?”
“Oh she pulled me over and begged me to take her back. Said David. “But I kept declining. And she said, I can change that. Then she kissed me, then you came in.”
“Okay good” said Venus relieved. “To be forgiven you have to kiss me.”
“Okay” said David. He pulled Venus close to him.
Venus put her arms around him. Then they kissed passionately.
“Hey you guys get a room” said Belle teasingly.
“Hey Belle” said Venus still holding David.
“So you all right with the whole thing that just happened?” Belle asked.
“Sort a yeah” said Venus. “But she’s going to pay, oh she’s definitely going to pay.”
“She better” said Belle. “I hope she doesn’t do that to Jamey.”
“Don’t do what to me?” Asked Jamey.
“Oh Tami kissed David, and Venus got really mad. Now she’s going to pay her back.” Said Belle. “So I hope she doesn’t do that to you.”
“If she does I’ll hit her” said Jamey.
“But she’s a lady” said Belle. “You don’t hit ladies.”
“She’s no lady” said David. “She’s a slut that tries to act like a lady.”
“Nice one” said Venus.
“Oh my gosh, you should say that to her face” said Belle laughing.
“Let’s get out of here before she comes” said Venus. “And me beating her face in.”
“Oh please do” said Jamey.
“Yeah right, I would love too, but I don’t want to go to prison for it.” Said Venus.
“True” said Jamey. “Yeah lets go.” They went out to lunch.
“I love Burger King, it’s one of my favorite places” said Venus.
“I like Sonic, the best you get to eat in you car” said David.
“Nice David” said Belle.
They’re back at school, and bell rings. “Well see you people later” said Venus. She left for class. After school
“So Belle you coming over to my house?” Asked Venus.
“Yeah of course” said Belle.
“Okay good” said Venus. “We need to talk.” Venus and Belle got into Venus’s car and drove to Venus’s house.
“So how’s Aria doing?” Asked Belle.
“Hyper as usual”l said Venus. “But she’s still cute.”
“So what do you feed him?” Asked Belle.
“Its a weasel, so weasel food I assume.” Said Venus.
“Interesting” said Belle.
“Yeah I have to say” said Venus. They walked upstairs into Venus’s room.
“Here’s Aria” said Venus holding the cage.
“Oh she’s so cute” said Belle watching the weasel walking around the cage.
“Yeah, but sometimes she’s a stinker” said Venus.
“Nice” said Belle laughing.
The phone rings
“Hello” said Venus.
“Hey Venus this is Jamey” said Jamey. “You better get down here to David’s quick.”
“What! What happened? Where is he?” Asked Venus in a worried voice.
“No time” said Jamey.
“Okay be there in a minute” said Venus. “Belle you coming?”
“Yeah I'm coming” said Belle.
They ran to the car, went down to David’s. They arrived a minute later.
“So what happened?” Asked Venus getting out of the car and rushing toward Jamey.
“Well I came over to see what David was doing and I found this note”:
Dear Venus,
If you want to see you precious David again (not dead of course) then call me at 932-5628.

“Oh no she didn’t” said Venus flaming with anger. “I’m going to BEAT HER!” A sudden gust of wind came making Venus’s hair flying the air and her eyes appeared flames of fire in them. “Belle can I borrow your cell phone?”
“Yeah sure” said Belle taking her cell phone out of her pocket.
“Thanks” said Venus dialing the number that said on the note.
Venus was waiting impatiently for the phone to be answered. “Hello this is a rejection hot line” said the recording. “And David doesn’t want you anymore. So give it up.”
Venus hung up the phone and gave it back to Belle. “It was a recording” said Venus. “It was a rejection hot line number and Tami said to give up. But I know where they are. I heard a voice in the background. They’re at Dave’s Inn.”
Okay lets go said Belle.
Jamey got in his car, Venus and Belle got in Venus’s car. They drove off with Jamey following them. A couple minutes later they arrived at Dave’s Inn.
“Okay we’re here” said Venus getting out of her car.
“So how are we going to get into the same room as Tami and David?” Asked Jamey.
“I’ve got a plan up my sleeve” said Venus slyly.
“Okay good “said Belle.
They walked into the hotel. “Hello, how may I help you?” Asked the person behind the desk.
“Yes” said Venus. “My friend Tami got a room for us and we were running a little late.”
“Oh let me check” said the person behind the desk.
“Tami, Tami, yes, okay” said the person behind the desk. “Do you want a key to the room? “
“Yes please” said Venus.
“Here you go” said the person behind the desk.
“Okay thanks” said Venus taking the key. They walked to the door. “Room Service said Venus in a high voice.”
“No thanks we’re busy” said Tami.
“Not anymore” said Venus angrily.
Venus unlocked the door, and the burst open. “Sept away from him” said Venus flaming mad.
Tami stepped away trembling in fear.
“David are you okay?” Venus asked rushing to him.
“I think so” said David. “I’m not sure.”
“What did you do to him?” Asked Venus trembling in anger.
“She did nothing Venus” said David quickly. “Seeing that she was furious with Tami. Lets just go.”
“Okay fine” said Venus glaring at Tami. “But first I want to say something. TAMI STAY AWAY FROM MY FRIENDS AND ME, ALL RIGHT?”
She nodded yes. “Okay Venus, lets go” said David taking her hand and pulling to the door.
They got to the car. “I’m going to go with Jamey, Venus” said Belle.
“Yeah I think that’s best” said David.
Jamey and Belle got in his car and drove off. David and Venus got in her car. “Venus are you okay?” David asked in a worried voice.
“I want to know what happened” said Venus sternly.
“Okay but you can’t hurt or harm Tami in anyway” said David.
“Okay I promise” said Venus.
“Okay” said David taking a deep breath. “I was at home watching TV then I heard a knock on the door. So I opened it and Tami was there. She walked in and said, she wanted me back of course. I asked her why? She said that she missed me always being around her. I told her I didn’t because I always had to do what you wanted. And you always wanted to make out.”
“Yeah so what’s bad about that?” Asked Tami.
“It gets boring Tami” said David.
“Not to me said Tami. Now come on where going somewhere.”
“Do I have a choice?” Asked David.
“No” said Tami.
“Of course” said David.
Tami pulled David into the car and drove off. Tami pulled into a hotel called Dave’s Inn. Tami got out of the car. “Come on David get out of the car” said Tami.
“I’m coming hold on” said David.
David got out of the car and followed Tami. “Okay here’s our room” said Tami.
“Wow, nice room” said David trying to be nice.
“Yeah I picked it especially for you” said Tami lying on the bed.
“Great” said David sitting on a chair.
“Fine I’ll come over there” said Tami getting off the bed and walking towards David.
“Umm” said David getting nervous as Tami sat on him. “I have to go to the bathroom.” And he ran out of the room, leaving Tami on the floor. “Then I heard someone at the door. So I came out to see who it was. Then you came and all that stuff.”
“Okay as long as she didn’t hurt you” said Venus still mad.
“No thank goodness” said David.
“Yeah or I would have beat her instead of scare her” said Venus.
“That wouldn’t have been good” said David. “You okay now?”
“Yeah, better thanks” said Venus.
“You scared me back there” said David. “ haven’t seen you so mad before.”
“Me neither” said Venus surprised also. “I didn’t know I could get that mad. Maybe I should go see that gypsy lady again. It might have something to do with my c thing. We could go after school tomorrow.”
“Sure” said David.
“Okay” said Venus. “I think we should go home now it’s getting late.”
“Yeah I agree” said David. “Thanks for coming to get me.”
“Your welcome” said Venus. “Before you go I wanna a kiss.”
“That’s easy enough to do” said David.
They kissed passionately. “See you tomorrow” said Venus.
“Okay see you” said David.
The next morning at school. “Hey Venus are you doing okay?” Asked Jamey.
“Yeah I’m doing lot better” said Venus. “Tami won’t be bothering us anymore.”
“Okay as long as your okay” said Jamey relieved.
“Yeah I’m fine now” said Venus. “I’ve been mad before, but not that mad.”
“Huh! Really, that’s weird” said Jamey.
“Well I better go find Belle” said Venus.
“Okay talk to you later” said Jamey.
“Bye” said Venus.
Venus went to find Belle, but found David instead. “Hey David” said Venus.
“Hey, are you doing better?” Asked David.
“Yes much” said Venus “thanks for caring so much.”
“That’s what I'm here for” said David.
“Awe David” said Venus punching him softly, and then he pulled her into a hug.
“What? “Said David still hugging Venus.
“Hey Venus, have you seen Jamey?” Asked Belle.
“Oh, hey Belle” said Venus surprised. “Yeah he went down the hall looking for you”
“Thanks” said Belle. “See you guys later.”
“That was weird “said Venus.
“Yeah I’d have to say so” said David.
Bell rings for school to start. “I’ve got to David” said Venus.
“Yeah I know” said David “but I don’t want to let you go.”
“Neither do I” said Venus. “See you at lunch?”
“I guess I can wait that long” said David sarcastically.
“See you” said Venus giving him a kiss.
Lunch time “Belle? Hey Belle!” Said Venus waving her hand in front of her face. “Hello? Anyone home?”
“Oh what? Sorry I was thinking” said Belle.
“Are you okay?” Asked Venus.
“Yeah I’m fine” said Belle.
“You seem a little distracted today” said Venus.
“I do?” Said Belle, “I’ve been thinking that’s all. Why?”
“Was it because of last night?” Asked Venus.
“It’s not because of you” said Belle quickly. “It’s what Jamey said to me.”
“What did he say?” Asked Venus.
“He said he loved me and he wanted me to know everything about him. So he showed me a mark on his neck. And it was an Σ.” said Belle.
“Oh my gosh! Really? Crap” said Venus. “The gypsy lady said that the person wanted the power for evil. Who knows what Jamey would do?”
“Jamey wouldn’t do anything bad” said Belle sternly.
“How do you know?” Said Venus. “We barely know the guy.”
“I know that he loves me” said Belle.
“He could be playing you” said Venus.
“How do you know?” Asked Belle. Then she stormed off.
“What happened?” Asked David while sitting down.
“She got mad because Jamey has the Σ on his neck” said Venus. “So I said be careful he might be using you basically.”
“Oh” said David. “Are you sure he’s the one who has the Σ?”
“No, Belle said that he told her” said Venus. “I’m just being cautious.”
“Yeah I know you” said David. “Let’s wait and see what happens.”
“Okay” said Venus. “That’s fine with me.”
After school. “Hey Venus!” Yelled Jamey. “Have you seen Belle?”
“No, not since lunch” said Venus.
“Okay thanks” said Jamey then he ran off.
“See yeah” said Venus confused. “Hey David.”
“Ready?” said David.
“Yes, let’s go” said Venus.
They headed toward the gypsy’s place again. “It still feels creep here” said Venus.
“Yeah, it gives me the creeps to” said David knocking on the door.
“Hello” said a raspy old voice.
“Hi, its Venus Taylor again” said Venus.
“Come in child, come in” said the gypsy. “What questions do you have for me?”
Venus told her about the night she got mad at Tami. “Oh well” said the gypsy. “You are getting power or you already have it. Has this or something similar to this happen before?”
“Umm?” Said Venus thinking. “Yes something happened when I was six.”
“Oh well then” said the gypsy. “You some power but when you find the crystal it gets stronger.”
“You mean I can do cool things” said Venus excitedly.
“No, you some power but not that much” said the gypsy. “You control it by your emotions. Like when you got mad.”
“Oh” said Venus a little disappointed.
“Well we better go” said David. “I have to get home soon.”
“Yeah we better” said Venus. “Thanks for all your help.”
“You’re welcome my child” said the gypsy. “Come see me soon.”
“Okay I’ll be back if I have anymore questions.” Said Venus.
“Bye” said David.
Venus and David walked out the door and started for home. “That’s so freaking cool, I have powers” said Venus excitedly.
“Yeah that’s so cool” said David.
